Leviticus 11:44(NKJV)
For I am the LORD your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you
Shal be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing at
creeps on the earth.
Leviticus 11:45(NKJV)
For I am the LORD Who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You
shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

    • The book of Leviticus is a handbook for the priests and Levites outlining their duties in worship, and a guidebook of holy living for the Hebrews. The Hebrew meaning of Leviticus is "And He Called." The Greek meaning is "Matters Pertaining to the Levites."

      • Leviticus 1:2(NKJV) "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When any one of you brings an offering to the LORD, you shall bring your offering of the livestock-of the herd and of the flock.

Celebration of God’s deliverance

Feasts of Harvest/ Weeks (Pentecost)

50 days after the feast of Unleavened bread, celebrating the early harvest

Feast of Tabernacles (Booths) Feast of Ingathering

Celebration of the completed harvest, and a remembrance of their dwelling in temporary shelters in the wilderness

September- October
