Banana Nut Bread
This banana nut bread recipe is delicious. My family loves it.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3-4 very ripe bananas (mashed up)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the eggs, 1 at a time mixing well each time.
- Stir in vanilla and bananas.
- Stir in salt and baking powder.
- Stir in flour.
- Fold in the nuts.
- Pour into baking pan and bake for 1hr or until a case knife comes out clean.
