Creation
In the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The Lord God made the heavens and the earth. He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom and has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.
(Genesis 1:1, 2:4; Jeremiah 10:12)
Vocabulary:
God -Elohim (H430 - 'ĕlōhîm) אֱלֹהִים ʼĕlôhîym, el-o-heem'; plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:—angels, exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), (very) great, judges, mighty.
LORD - Jehovah (H3068 - Yᵊhōvâ) יְהֹוָה Yᵉhôvâh, yeh-ho-vaw'; from H1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jeho-vah, Jewish national name of God:—Jehovah, the Lord.
created - (H1254 - bārā') בָּרָא bârâʼ, baw-raw'; a primitive root; (absolutely) to create; (qualified) to cut down (a wood), select, feed (as formative processes):—choose, create (creator), cut down, dispatch, do, make (fat).
power- H3581 - kōaḥ כֹּחַ kôach, ko'-akh; or (Daniel 11:6) כּוֹחַ kôwach; from an unused root meaning to be firm; vigor, literally (force, in a good or a bad sense) or figuratively (capacity, means, produce); also (from its hardiness) a large lizard:—ability, able, chameleon, force, fruits, might, power(-ful), strength, substance, wealth.
wisdom - H2451 - ḥāḵmâ חׇכְמָה chokmâh, khok-maw'; from H2449; wisdom (in a good sense):—skilful, wisdom, wisely, wit. (in Proverbs 8 wisdom is a personified divine attribute showing God's omnipotence and omniscience)
